The proposed Shellfish Rules and Regulations include a onetime increase in daily catch limits for 2009, increased permit fees, volunteer time for commercial diggers, a seasonal commercial permit for high school students, elimination of out of state permits, and other necessary updates.  There are no changes to Section 13-Shellfish Grant Regulations.  Public and private aquaculture will be the next topic for the Shellfish Sub-Committee to the Selectmen.

As voted by the Board of Selectmen, the Roaring Bull winter clam flat will be opened everyday starting January 22, 2009 until May 1st, 2009.
