Fill-A-Cruiser Food Drive

In 2009, the Ipswich Police Department started its Fill-A-Cruiser program.  The department collaborated with Shaw's Supermarket two host two food drives to benefit the Ipswich Food Pantry.  Officers form the police department volunteered their time to collect food and monetary donations for those in need in the community.  The events were held in April and May and generated several cruisers filled with food and over $1,700 in donations.  The IPD plans to continually hold the food drives on an ongoing basis.
