Animal Control

Matt Antczak , Animal Control Officer

Ipswich Animal Control strives to help keep the public educated and up to date on any and all animal related information. Through articles in the Ipswich Chronicle and through education programs at the elementary schools, I hope to keep Ipswich kids interested and enthused about animals.

I hope to have a dog park created soon for our dogs to be able to run off leash and get some exercise.

I am hoping to inform the public about the many positives of having indoor cats.

I have worked with SRH veterinary services on rabies clinics and have added in micro chipping to those, and presently working on getting spay and neuter clinic started for low income households.

I would like to advise all horse owners that we have received numerous complaints about horse droppings along public sidewalks and private driveways. We are asking that all horse riders pick up after their horses.
